Rules of War
1. If you wish to become a warlord, you must announce your intentions before the Council. For both Warlords and Toa, you may not simply step into the war at any moment you feel like. You may not drop out of the war once you have entered. Only a Warlord may release their Toa from active duty.
2. You may not reveal the nature of the war or anything to do with the Gods to any innocents. If an Innocent becomes an Alert on mistake, this is not your fault, but do not deliberately prove the existence of Gods to them. (this is also an unspoken universal law that pertains to all scenarios outside of the war itself).
3. During the war, you may not show open displays of fighting and killing, nor openly demonstrate your powers before any Innocents. This is in accordance with the second rule.
4. The rules of every combat will be decided amongst the opposing armies.
5. If a Toa is slain in battle, they may not be replaced.
6. The gods and goddesses are not supposed to interfere with the war. In light of the fact that they will most definitely disobey this rule, this rule has been voided.
7. Mortals and immortals alike are subject to help or hinder different armies for different reasons. This does not give the armies excuse to hunt down and slaughter those who oppose them or help their enemies.
8. A hospital may not refuse treatment of the armies no matter the side the hospital is on.
9. Gods and goddesses may refuse any offerings or pleas for assistance the armies or otherwise make.
10. If a Warlord is killed, the army must surrender and disband. No Toa is allowed to replace the fallen Warlord and no new person is allowed to take the fallen Warlord's place. Impostors will be executed on the spot.

The Council
made up of seven members, all of them gods with zeus presiding
all warlords will present themselves to the council privately
when the council has decided that enough warlords have applied, they will send everyone a second message with the list of the warlords
the council is primarily there to watch over the war itself and make sure all rules are obeyed, they only interfere if the knowledge of the war and demigods and such is in jeopardy

Recruiting and Managing The Army
There are no real rules or regulations to recruiting your army. You may either announce to the other armies of the members in it or keep them all secret, pretending to act alone while your Toa strike from the shadows, or fifty-fifity or something different. Whichever suits you best.
The recruitment period is from the first announcement of the warlords until the first blood has been shed.
Recruiting Rules
1. You cannot recruit a god or goddess as they cannot be killed and have unlimited power. Monsters do not count as Toa either.
2. If you recruit an Innocent, you must make them an alert. This is allowed so long as you do this privately and don't let more than that person in on the secret.
3. Recruits must be honest with the Warlord. If they are supporting someone else to win, they must tell the warlord so and refuse the offer of recruitment.
4. Toa must be willing to become complete robots under the Warlord's control. They are not allowed to leave the army at any time, they must follow orders, etc.
5. Treatment of Toa is up to the Warlord. The Warlord's word is absolute.
After an army has been recruited, it would be a good idea to set up some sort of base, a place where everyone can live during the war's duration. It would simply be too dangerous for everyone to live in separate locations where they can be picked off by other armies.
Warlords must be ready to fully support their army. Everyone will have to work together as a single unit if they want to survive. Though personalities and morals may clash, survival should be key to everyone. Though everyone must pitch in to provide ample supplies and put all effort into keeping their warlord alive, it is the Warlord who must take all responsibilites. Executing strategies, making sure armor and weapons are in good condition, keeping everyone healthy and fit, and of course, funeral arrangements as need be.
Though a lot of this may seem like a no brainer or maybe a bit overwhelming at first glance, simply do what comes naturally and don't stress about it. If you think supplies are low, send someone to get more. Someone injured? Take them to a hospital. You want to attack an army? Sit down and think it through for a moment.
Managing the Army
1. If a Toa is critically injured, unable to fight, betrays, or gives other reasons for not being able to continue fighting for a Warlord, the Warlord is then allowed to disband or kill them. However, a Toa may never leave of their own free will.
2. If a Toa has been disbanded or if that Toa's Warlord kills them, ONLY THEN may the Toa be replaced. The replacement must be brought before the council.
3. Armies may take up certain territories or parts of cities and manage them as seen in modern warfare. They should be warned to pick their territories carefully and maintain good relationships with people in the area. Those who are against the army are likely to attack.

Supporting the Army
You're a warlord in the middle of a war. People are fighting and dying for you. You think you have time to be going out to a fast food restaurant? You think your Toa are going to be able to hold down jobs? No they won't. Well what does that mean for your army? Supplies. Simple necessities such as food, water, shelter, weapons, materials: all those things are going to be in demand. You need to have books to research battle strategies. You're going to need flashlights for those nights you're being chased around sewers. You need food to keep everyone fed. Simple everyday things like skipping off to the local minimart aren't so simple anymore. You're being watched, followed, and not by paparazzi, but by half-crazed alerts who want the other guy to win or even the Toa or Warlord of another army looking to pick off the easy prey. For you, this means you need to stock up on supplies. Stocking up means less life-threatening excursions down the street for a decent loaf of bread.
Stockpiling
By the time the war is underway, a good base should have been established for the army to settle into. One necessity for the base, is of course, the supply room. This is where food, water, clothes, weapons, batteries, money, etc will be stored. The supply room needs to be managed and maintained often enough. This is a realistic roleplay: you do not have an unlimited amount of supplies pouring out of your supply closet like it's Hermione's bottomless bag. And depending on how you set up stock during your base setup, you may not have things like junk food. Keep track of how much the army is eating and using. I'm not saying write down every single article on a list (unless you're a meticulous list-freak like me), but every now and then, have a character go, "We're running low on food. Take two men and get to the nearest store to resupply." Or if you are pretty sure they don't have something like rope, do not say, "He grabbed the rope".
Here's a couple things you should include in your supply room:
Water: keep a handy supply of bottled water in case a fellow army sabotages your plumbing. Especially if your base is set up outside the cities, it may not be safe to constantly go to a nearby stream to get some.
Food: Only essentials. Things like chips, soda, and ice cream should not be on the list. Some good food stuffs include canned vegetables & soups & beans, noodles, bread, dried or fresh meat, potatoes, rice, and the assortments of fresh vegetables and fruits. Anything that can be stored well for a good period of time depending where your store room is located.
Clothing and Blankets: Extra clothes are useful especially for disguises or if your own clothes get torn in battle. Blankets are necessary for keeping any injured warm. Clothes can also be ripped into strips to serve as makeshift bandages. You don't need too many extra clothes.
Survival Tools: knife (pocket or hunting), rope, flashlights, batteries, matches, lighters, first aid kit.
Weapons: Depending on everyone's weapon of choice or fighting specialty, keep a few extra on hand at all times. Same goes for armor.
Do remember to keep certain supplies within easy reach in case you all need to pack up and flee.
Specially Acquiring Supplies
Depending on your location or your situation, acquiring supplies may not always be easy. If ever in a desperate situation, offering up a sacrifice and prayer to the gods may grant you the supplies you seek. Be sure to pray to the correct god for the correct supply. Praying to Phobos for food will not grant you food. Praying to Demeter may grant you bread and vegetables, praying to Asclepius may grant you medicine, and so on.
Certain supplies cannot be acquired by going to a store. Things like weapons, armor, and magicked items are acquired through different means. Sacrificing and praying to a god for a certain object will depend on what object you want. As with the contrast above, be sure to pray to the right god for the right object. Praying to Phobos for a suit of armor that renders you invisible will not be answered, but a suit of armor that causes all those who look at it to panic and flee is within reason.
Most armor and weapons can more easily and efficiently be acquired by going to a forge and ordering a supply of them. If you want raw materials, they can also be bought from the forges or acquired by visiting the sites these materials are acquired from (wood from forests, ores from mines, etc).
When sacrificing to the gods, the best thing to offer is something you know will please them. Usually a blood sacrifice or the best parts of an animal offered up in fire is accepted by all the gods. Building shrines and consecrating them is another way (more on that later).

The War
Games and Challenges
- As different demigod powers may vary, you may decide to challenge your opponent to a game. Rules of these games typically boil down to "I win, you die. You win, I die". They may be physical or psychological. The one who creates the challenge is the one to determine the rules. Everything and anything is free game (ie: you lose, you must kill one of your closest and youngest family member)
- Games and Challenges may also be given by a god or goddess, more often the actual god or goddess who is dying. This is done to create a challenge that will assure the victor lives up to the standards of the individual on whether or not they are worthy. These games and challenges may be given as random, small challenges in the midst of the greater war, or the very nature of the war's rules may change.
- Dueling is a pretty basic concept. The rules of dueling will always be to the death, and the victor may not be harmed before the duel or up to one hour after the duel. This will determine that none of the loser's friends, Toa, etc kill the victor for the sake of revenge.
- You may kill a Warlord by art of assassination. If you so choose to do this, you will have to be stealthy about it or you could be discovered before you even get the chance. You may choose to do it yourself or send one of your Toa to do it for you.
- If you choose to go solo, be aware that you are playing it very dangerously. Of course, you may have your own reasons for doing so (ie: not drawing loved ones into the mix). Nevertheless, be aware that you are now the most desirable target as you have no form of protection except what your abilities and/or powers allow.
- A death match is determined when all Warlords agree to go solo or if the god or goddess determines at any time in the war that there will be a Death Match. A Death Match is a set amount of time (stretching from hours to days) in which the Warlords are confined to one area and must kill as many of each other as they can before time runs out. After the time is up, they are allowed to resume the normal course of the war.
- When two armies are to face each other in complete, open confrontation, they must choose a battlefield. If they are in territory that may draw in innocent casualties, they should pray to the gods to create a force around the area. If they do not, there may be undesired consequences.
WInning The War
The war is one when all opposing Warlords have been eradicated. The Toa of those armies do not have to be eradicated. Wether the Warlords were killed off by Toa or the Warlord himself is purely up to the Warlord.
When a Warlord becomes a god, they will take on the god's full power, abilities, status, memories, experiences, etc. The only thing they will maintain is their appearance, though they can change their age at will. Their gender will also remain the same, which means there could very well be a female Zeus or a male Aphordite.
However, relationships will become void if they are different gender. If a female becomes Zeus, then the marriage to Hera and any ties with mortal women will be severed. If the new Zeus is male, then the relationships will remain unless Hera or other females are replaced by males.
They will take the god's abilities, domain, status, memories, experiences, etc. The only thing they maintain is their appearance. They will be aware of their own lives before they became a god, but it will feel distant and as if it belonged to someone else.
